Founders

Nataly Holm - CEO

Nataly Holm has a Swedish Law degree and a Master degree in Commercial Arbitration - both from Stockholm University - as well as a Russian Master degree in Law from MGIMO University in Moscow. She has also a five year Teacher training University Degree in English and French, and a five year degree in Turkish.

Besides being the CEO of Lingua Training, Nataly has practiced business law both in Sweden and abroad, and has worked for some of the leading Swedish business law firms. In her past, Nataly has also enjoyed teaching languages on a part-time basis to groups, individuals and distance students for over seven years.

Niclas Holm - Board Member and Chief Technical Advisor

Niclas Holm has a Master degree in Computer Science and Art History. Having succeeded in a number of software projects, as various as developing an integrated software suite (wordprocessor/database/spreadsheet) and creating digital special effects for a major feature film, Niclas has been the CEO and co-founder of the Swedish software company Algorithmica Research AB since 1994.

Johan Asplund - Chief Product Development

Johan Asplund has a 5-year Teacher Training University Degree in English and History, accompanied by studies in Computer Science and Rhetoric. During his studies he has, among other jobs, been teaching English at Komvux. After his graduation he joined the Lingua Project seeing the opportunity to combine his teaching education with his interest for web design and programming.

The Team

Our team includes professionals in both software development (programmers, web-developers and database specialists) and language teaching. We encourage additional education in online-applications and pedagogy, and are looking forward to welcoming new team members this autumn. Besides the permanent team-members, we invite on a consultancy basis those specialists who possess the best available competence required for a specific project (e.g. an experienced teacher in English Legal Writing when developing such an online course). We also work in close co-operation with our clients throughout the entire project development, so it wouldn't be wrong to mention our clients when speaking of our Team.
